Study Permit

Citizens of Mexico now require a visa to travel to Canada. This visa requirement applies to everyone who wants to visit, do business, study, or work on a temporary basis.

You can apply for a Temporary Resident (visitor) Visa at the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City. Our consulates outside Mexico City will not provide this service. If you are residing or travelling outside Mexico, you may apply at the Canadian visa office serving the country or region where you live or which you are visiting.

If there is an emergency and you need to travel to Canada immediately, go to Applying for a Temporary Resident Visa for details.

The following are the forms you need to apply for a visitor Visa ( in pdf files):

  1. Instructivo para tramite de VISA temporal (Spanish)

  2. Form IMM 5257 (Spanish)

  3. Additional Information Form (Spanish)

  4. Fam Comp Form (Spanish)

  5. Application for a temporary VISA IMM5257b (English)

AVAILABLE OPTIONS

Airport Pick-up

We are able to pick up students from the airports at Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa in order to facilitate their arrival in Canada.

Additional Transportation Services.

Health Insurance

It is advised that all students in Canada possess health insurance in order to be sure that they can afford the health services. We provide the necessary assistance to get health insurance.

Homestay

Homestay is the best way to experience Canada, and learn its language and culture. Being part of a Canadian family is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We assist students in choosing their Homestay family. The members of the family will give you a warm welcome into their home and their family life. You will have your own furnished room, for privacy and study, but you may join the family in activities, and in the evenings for dinner and conversation - an excellent way to practice your new language skills! Your family will also include your breakfast and a packed lunch, which you may eat at school and eat with other students. Your family, like your teachers, want your stay to be rewarding and enjoyable. Together they will give you the support and help when you need it, so that your visit is problem-free and full of warm and happy memories.
